AN EXCITING NEW SEASON BEGINS ON 1 SEPTEMBER!
We are delighted to announce that Ascend Blades will reopen after the summer break on 1 September.
We cannot wait to welcome everyone back and begin a new season filled with ambitious goals, new opportunities and exciting competitions.
Our regular training schedule remains unchanged:
TUESDAY & FRIDAY
18:00–19:00 — Beginners & Youth
19:00–20:00 — Intermediate & Competitive
All athletes are kindly asked to renew their annual club membership for the 2026/2027 season. The membership fee is €30 per athlete.
This season promises to be a very special one for Ascend Blades.
We are thrilled to announce the addition of the PBT Cup, with prizes provided by PBT Fencing, one of the world’s best-known fencing equipment brands.
We are also planning an exciting competition trip to Flawil, Switzerland.
Athletes from Ascend Blades will be joined by young fencers from across Ireland, giving them the opportunity to compete internationally, gain valuable experience and represent Irish fencing together.
We also have more good news: Ascend Blades has introduced a new U20 category. From this season onwards, all youth competitions organised by our club will include U20 events, creating more competitive opportunities for older junior athletes.
A new season, new challenges and bigger goals await us.
We look forward to seeing everyone back on the piste!
